Northwest Bus Celebrates Grand Opening of New Headquarters at Haramain Station in Jeddah and Welcomes its Millionth Passenger! 

One Million passengers in less than a year!

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – August 29, 2024 – Northwest Bus, a leading bus transportation company and one of the key players in Saudi Arabia’s transportation sector, has announced the grand opening of its headquarters located at Al-Haramain Train Station in Sulaymaniyah, Jeddah.

This occasion coincided with Northwest Bus celebrating its one millionth passenger, making it the first Saudi transportation company to reach this milestone in less than a year. This achievement reinforces Northwest Bus’s position as a leading transportation company in the Kingdom and reflects its unwavering commitment to providing high-quality transportation services that meet the ever-growing needs of its passengers.

The Grand Opening

The event was attended by a distinguished gathering of senior officials and influential figures in the transportation sector, including Salah Al-Qaid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Northwest Bus, Faisal Al-Qaid, CEO of Saudi Qaid Transport Company, Jordi Castells Porta, CEO of the Spanish company Moventis, and Carl Yeaman, CEO of Northwest Bus, as well as representatives from the Saudi Public Transport Authority, senior officials from the Saudi Arabia Railways Organization (SAR), and senior officials from the Administration of  Railway Infrastructure (ADIF), along with many other prominent and influential figures.

The main highlight of the event was celebrating the one millionth Northwest Bus passenger! In recognition of this special achievement, the company presented the passenger with a year’s worth of free travel tickets and the latest iPhone, amid a celebratory atmosphere. 

The event also featured several other activities, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by senior officials and distinguished figures, as well as guided tours to showcase the new headquarters’ advanced facilities and operational capabilities.
